About the Role
Merkle Science is hiring a Director of Regulatory Affairs, based in New York (remote-friendly). Merkle Science provides blockchain transaction monitoring and intelligence solutions for web3 companies, digital asset service providers, financial institutions, law enforcement and government agencies to detect, investigate, and prevent illicit use of cryptocurrencies.
Responsibilities
- Lead compliance strategy and regulatory relationships for blockchain monitoring platform
- Oversee policy advocacy and government institutional partnerships
- Develop and implement compliance frameworks across web3, fintech, and government sectors
- Shape regulatory positioning for transaction intelligence platform
- Manage cross-sector stakeholder engagement with law enforcement and digital asset service providers
Requirements
- Director-level experience in regulatory affairs or compliance
- Deep understanding of blockchain, cryptocurrency, and digital asset regulation
- Proven track record managing regulatory relationships with government agencies
- Experience developing and implementing compliance frameworks
- Strong policy advocacy and stakeholder management capabilities
