ABN AMRO Digital Assets refers to the tokenization and blockchain efforts of Dutch bank ABN AMRO. The bank was the first in Europe to register a digital bond for a mid-corporate client on a public blockchain, and the first Dutch bank to register a digital green bond on public blockchain. It uses the ERC-3643 standard on the Polygon network to enforce regulatory controls on-chain, and has partnered with Fireblocks for custody technology and with Germany-regulated 21X on tokenized asset settlement against stablecoins. ABN AMRO has also taken part in Eurosystem digital currency tests.
