Blocksquare
Blocksquare is a Slovenian technology company founded in 2018 that builds infrastructure for tokenizing real estate. Its Ethereum based protocol lets property owners create tokens (BSPTs) representing economic rights to a property, such as rental income, with each property split into 100,000 tokens tied to notarized agreements under an EU oriented legal framework launched in February 2025. Blocksquare licenses white label marketplace software to operators and runs Oceanpoint, a DeFi liquidity layer, plus the BST governance token. It does not act as a regulated token issuer; it supplies tooling for clients to issue in a MiCA aware manner. As of July 2025 it reported more than 200 million dollars of real estate tokenized across roughly 29 countries and 66 properties.
