Deutsche Bank Digital Assets
Deutsche Bank is a global bank headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany. Its digital assets work focuses on tokenization and custody of digital assets for institutional clients. Deutsche Bank plans to launch a digital asset custody service in 2026, using technology from Bitpanda and continuing work with Swiss provider Taurus, in which it invested in 2023. Through Project DAMA 2, developed with Memento Blockchain and Axelar Network developer Interop Labs, the bank published a litepaper in June 2025 describing a tokenization and asset servicing platform on Ethereum layer 2 for tokenized funds, stablecoins and other real world assets, with a minimum viable product targeted for the second half of 2025. The bank is also assessing stablecoin and tokenized deposit models.
