Global Digital Finance (GDF)
Global Digital Finance (GDF) is a not-for-profit industry membership association for the crypto and digital assets sector, based in London. It convenes member firms, policymakers and regulators to develop best practices and conduct standards, including the Global Cryptoasset Standards, a code of conduct built on 63 principles across ethics, governance, execution, information sharing, risk management and settlement. GDF runs regional policy working groups across the US, UK, Europe, the Middle East and APAC, and files consultation responses with bodies such as IOSCO, the FSB and FATF. In 2022 GDF and the Global Blockchain Business Council merged to form GBBC Digital Finance, and the organization continues to operate under the Global Digital Finance name.
