Goldfinch
Goldfinch is a decentralized credit protocol that provides on-chain access to private credit. Built on Ethereum and launched in 2021 by former Coinbase employees Mike Sall and Blake West, it is maintained by Warbler Labs. In February 2025 it launched Goldfinch Prime, a pool giving non-U.S. investors diversified exposure to institutional private credit funds from managers such as Apollo Global Management, Ares Management and Golub Capital. Investors deposit USDC and receive GPRIME pool tokens; the pool targets returns of 9 to 12 percent after fees. Heron Finance, an SEC-registered investment adviser also built by Warbler Labs, serves as the Prime pool manager, while underwriting and risk management remain with the underlying fund managers.
