HSBC Digital Assets is the digital assets and tokenization business of HSBC Holdings plc, a global bank headquartered at 8 Canada Square, London, United Kingdom. HSBC operates HSBC Orion, a proprietary tokenization platform used to issue digitally native bonds; the platform has supported over 3.5 billion dollars in digital bonds across sovereign, supranational and corporate issuers. In March 2024 HSBC launched the HSBC Gold Token, a tokenized gold product for retail customers in Hong Kong authorized by the Securities and Futures Commission; by November 2025 it exceeded 1 billion dollars in trading volume.
