Vanguard
Vanguard is an asset manager founded in 1975 and headquartered in Malvern, Pennsylvania. It offers index and actively managed mutual funds, ETFs, brokerage and advisory services to individual and institutional investors, with about 11.6 trillion dollars in global assets under management as of September 2025 and more than 50 million investors across over 160 countries. Its advisory entities are registered with the SEC. In December 2025 Vanguard opened its brokerage platform to third party crypto ETFs and mutual funds and began hiring its first head of digital assets. It has stated it does not plan to launch its own crypto funds.
